My sister Peggy has three children and two of them arrived about 6 weeks early. So given her track record, I was sure she'd go early. She didn't though.
As the weeks for her due date grew closer, she anxiously awaited the birth of little Madison Christine. So when Peggy's doctor told her that her daughter was safe for delivery, she enlisted me to go walking as often as possible.
At one point she was so frustrated with waiting that she began doing jumping jacks. That, I thought, was a bit extreme.
So all of this to say that little Madi was born exactly on her due date, which happens to be my dad's birthday. He could not have dreamed of such a wonderful birthday present.
I'll post pictures on the site later. I was up early this morning and need to take a nap.
Love ya,
James :0)
