In His Arms He carries you all day long

I know that that wonderful song is true...In His Arms He carries me all day long.

I cannot believe that in a very short time I will be in China. I have waited and dreamed for this for such a long time and now it seems it is finally becoming a reality.

I still have some packing and last minute things to take care of, but I know that they will be done and that joy comes in the morning. However, no one ever said what morning that was though did they?

I'll send pictures as soon as I can and hope to hear much from you all.

Once I arrive in China, I will have about a week before we begin having planning meetings. On September 1st I report for duty. We will have three weeks of planning before classes begin. Wooooo hoooo!

I found out that I should not have more than 30 students in each of my classes. Classes last for two hours and I will not have more than 16 hours a week, unless we agree and they pay me overtime.

When you think of me remember:
1) That I will be going through some culture shock,
2) That my body needs to adjust to the time change
3) That my morning time will be quality.
4) That I will be learning Chinese.
5) Anything else you think a new Teacher might be
going through.

Love ya lots,

James :-)
